Alexander Piotrowicz received the Robert E. Jeans Memorial Scholarship. The award recognizes the memory of Robert E. Jeans and supports a graduating student’s next educational step. Piotrowicz was not present for the photograph submitted with the announcement.
Damian Grabowski received the John P. Panichi Scholarship, presented by Dr. Michelle Panichi. Allison Church received the Gail Panichi Scholarship, also presented by Dr. Panichi. Both awards honor members of the Panichi family and continue a local tradition of supporting Brearley students as they prepare for life after high school.
Adalina Caruso received the Gina Vibrant Spirit Scholarship. Dr. Panichi and the family of Gina Vasfailo presented the award, which remembers Vasfailo through a scholarship intended to recognize a student’s character and future potential.
Jamie Obuchowski and Bianca Luciano received Louis DeMondo Scholarships, presented by Dr. Panichi. Together, the recognitions reflect the role that family memorial funds and community donors can play in celebrating students’ accomplishments at an important transition point.
The scholarship awards were among the year’s acknowledgments of Brearley students’ academic work, school involvement and plans for continued education or training.
